Climate-controlled transport of pupae and mated queen bees- opportunity for development

Objectives
The aim is to improve and streamline the transport of pupae and mated queens. The goal is to develop a "shoe box-sized" box with a built-in heat source and climate control that can heat the box for at least one to two days.

Syftet är att förbättra och effektivisera transporten av puppor och parade drottningar. Målet är att utveckla en box med en skokartongs storlek med en inbyggd värmekälla och klimatstyrning som klarar av att värma boxen under minst ett till två dygn.
Activities
To achieve the goal, there is a need for technical development such as circuit boards, heat source, insulation of the box and battery capacity. Similar boxes are not available on the market, so the aim is to develop all the components.
Activities
För att nå målet så finns det ett behov av teknisk utveckling såsom kretskort, värmekälla, isolering av boxen samt batterikapacitet. Liknande box finns ej på marknaden så syftet är att utveckla samtliga ingående komponenter.
