Breeders and veterinarians build new relationships for more prevention and less antibiotics
Eleveurs et vétérinaires construisent de nouvelles relations pour plus de prévention et moins d'antobiotiques
Objectives
Develop the animal health approach by developing prevention in order to limit the use of antibiotics. Rethink the organization of links between breeders and veterinarians, who still too often intervene in emergency management towards an intervention in counseling. It will therefore be a question of replacing and recognizing the role of the veterinarian as an important interlocutor of breeders providing advice in the management of breeding on food, building, parasite management and no longer as a last resort. The objective of the project is to work in co-construction of new support means on a technical, financial and organizational framework of this new relationship.

Faire évoluer l’approche de la santé animale en développant la prévention afin de limiter le recours aux antibiotiques. Repenser l’organisation des liens entre éleveurs et vétérinaires qui interviennent encore trop souvent en gestion d’urgence vers une intervention en conseil. Il s’agira de replacer et reconnaître le rôle du vétérinaire en tant qu’interlocuteur important des éleveurs apportant un conseil dans la gestion de l’élevage sur l’alimentation, le bâtiment, la gestion parasitaire et non plus en dernier recours. L’objectif est de travailler en co-construction de nouveaux moyens d’accompagnement sur un cadrage technique, financier et organisationnel de cette nouvelle relation.
