Objectives

This project aims to innovate in agricultural practices by introducing a Bioremediation action. Ditches will be built where the implementation for the reduction of high levels of nitrates will be carried out and the progress of the effect verified for (2) years through periodic checks. The project aims to solve a serious environmental problem caused by agricultural activity in the Mar Menor environment by improving the sustainability of agricultural activity, therefore, significantly reducing the contribution of nitrates to aquifers and especially in the area of the Campo de Cartagena. 

Objectives

Este proyecto tiene la finalidad de innovar en las prácticas agrícolas introduciendo una acción de Biorremediación para lo cual se construirán zanjas donde se realizara la aplicación para la reducción de los altos niveles de nitratos y verificar durante dos (2) años el avance de los efectos, mediante los controles periódicos.
El proyecto tiene como hito el resolver un serio problema medioambiental ocasionado por la actividad agrícola, mejorando la sostenibilidad de la actividad agrícola al reducir significativamente la aportación de nitratos a los acuíferos y especial en la zona del Campo de Cartagena.
