Activities

Since the project has only recently started, not much can be reported on the activities so far. It is planned to use beneficial aphid tents in the open field to promote the early development of beneficial insects to control aphids. In addition, the ecological and economic benefits will be evaluated with regard to an innovative alternative to chemical insecticides.

Da das Projekt erst vor Kurzem gestartet ist, kann noch nicht viel über die bisherigen Aktivitäten berichtet werden. Geplant ist die Anwendung von Nützlüngszelten im freien Feld, um die frühzeitige Entwicklung von Nützlingen zur Bekämpfung von Blattläusen zu fördern. Darüber hinaus soll der ökologische und ökonomische Nutzen im Hinblick auf eine innovative Alternative zu chemischen Insektiziden bewertet werden.

1 Practice Abstracts

The beneficial tents are intended to help beneficial insects, such as hoverflies, ladybugs or aphid wasps, develop earlier in the field and thus counteract the spread of aphids. In addition, the economic benefits of the tents are to be evaluated.

Die Nützlingszelte sollen dazu beitragen, dass sich Nützlinge, wie z.B. Schwebfliegen, Marienkäfer oder Blattlausschlupfwespen, früher im Feld entwickeln und so dem Ausbreiten der Blattläuse entgegenwirken können. Darüber hinaus soll der ökonomische Nutzen der Zelte bewertet werden.
