Bacterial additive to increase the nutrientive value of slurry manure
In this EIP project OxyG bacterial additive (Roetech 106 PS) is added to slurry manure to study the impact on smell, manageability and plant nutrition content of the slurry. The aim is also to study what effect slurry manure with the addition of OxyG bacterial additive (Roetech 106 PS) has on crop growth and yield. The innovation contributes to making the slurry manure more valuable; through increased crop growth and easier and environmentally more effective handling, thus strengthening the user´s competitiveness.

Inom ramen för detta EIP-projekt tillförs OxyG bakteriepreparat (Roetech 106 PS) till flytgödsel för att testa inverkan på lukt, flytgödselhantering och innehåll av växtnäring, samt effekt på grödors tillväxt och avkastning. Innovationen bidrar till att öka värdet av stallgödseln genom ökad tillväxt hos grödan och en enklare och miljömässigt effektivare hantering som stärker konkurrenskraften för användaren.

The innovation is demonstrated on selected farms producing corn, potatoes or winter wheat. There will be four big test areas:
- Unprocessed
- With processed slurry manure
- With unprocessed slurry manure
- With nitrogen fertilizer

It is important to research other commercial products and use them as a "control" to compare with the product being tested, in this case bacterial product, Roetech 106 PS. It is important to understand that biological products contain living organisms that need to grow and grow predominate in the niche in which they are applied and that their survival is influenced by both biotic and abiotic factors. Nutrient administration in connection with the treatment of these products and the repetition of treatment is important.
