Authenticity identification and competitiveness enhancement of local traditional products of the Agri-food sector
Ταυτοποίηση αυθεντικότητας και ενίσχυση ανταγωνιστικότητας τοπικών παραδοσιακών προϊόντων του αγροδιατροφικού τομέα
Objectives
Aim of the project is to strengthen the competitiveness of agri-food enterprises by documenting the authenticity of local traditional products in the cross-border area of Greece and Cyprus and building mechanisms to strengthen rural entrepreneurship for the commercial exploitation of local authentic products in domestic and international markets. The project is implemented under the framework of Cooperation Programme INTERREG V-A Greece-Cyprus 2014-2020 and is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and National Funds of Greece and Cyprus.
Objectives
Στόχος του έργου είναι η ενίσχυση της ανταγωνιστικότητας των ΜικροΜεσαίων επιχειρήσεων του αγροδιατροφικού τομέα μέσω της ταυτοποίησης της αυθεντικότητας τοπικών παραδοσιακών προϊόντων στη διασυνοριακή περιοχή Β. Αιγαίου- Κύπρου και της δόμησης των μηχανισμών ενίσχυσης της αγροτικής επιχειρηματικότητας για την εμπορική αξιοποίηση τοπικών αυθεντικών προϊόντων σε εγχώριες και διεθνείς αγορές. Το έργο υλοποιείται στο πλαίσιο του Προγράμματος Συνεργασίας INTERREG V-A Ελλάδα-Κύπρος 2014-2020 και συγχρηματοδοτείται από το Ευρωπαϊκό Ταμείο Περιφερειακής Ανάπτυξης (ΕΤΠΑ) και εθνικούς πόρους της Ελλάδας και της Κύπρου.
Activities
The main project activities include:
(1) Development of an innovative protocol for the documentation of authenticity through the combined use of: a) Genetic information (DNA); b) Isotopic characterization and c) Microbial profile, enabling the identification of what is produced, where and with what quality characteristics
(2) Mapping the authenticity features of local products (including local varieties, dairy products, wine and oils) in the Greek Islands of North Aegean Region and in Cyprus and development of a reference database
(3) Development of standard procedures and award of an "Identity of Aythenticiy" in genuie local products of North Aegean that is accompanied with a digital product tracking of origin certificate (as unique QRCode) through an on-line registry of authenticity
(4) Deployment of capacity building actions for SMEs in order to enhance their skills in bussines management, promotion and marketing of local products
Activities
Οι κυριότερες δράσεις του έργου περιλαμβάνουν:
(1) Ανάπτυξη ενός καινοτόμου μοντέλου για την αξιολόγηση της αυθεντικότητας των προϊόντων αγροδιατροφής που συνδυάζει, κατά περίπτωση, τις πλέον σύγχρονες και αξιόπιστες επιστημονικές μεθόδους για τον προσδιορισμό: α) Γενετικών χαρακτηριστικών (DNA), β) Ισοτοπικού αποτυπώματος, και γ) Μικροβιακού προφίλ, ώστε να καθίσταται δυνατή η ταυτοποίηση αυθεντικότητας σε σχέση με τα χαρακτηριστικά των προϊόντων, τα μέσα παραγωγής και την προέλευσή τους (βοτανική - γεωγραφική) ή με απλά λόγια:

(2) Χαρτογράφηση της αυθεντικότητας των τοπικών προϊόντων σε Βόρειο Αιγαίο και Κύπρο και δημιουργία μια βάση δεδομένων αναφοράς σε σχέση με τα χαρακτηριστικά αυθεντικότητας.
(3) Οργάνωση μηχανισμού και συστήματος χορήγησης “Ταυτοτήτων Αυθεντικότητας” για τα προϊόντα της Περιφέρειας Βορείου Αιγαίου που συνοδεύονται από ψηφιακό πιστοποιητικό ιχνηλάτησης της προέλευσης κάθε προϊόντος με μορφή QRCode και σχεδιασμός λειτουργίας αντίστοιχης δομής για την Κύπρο .
(4) Οργάνωση δράσεων ενημέρωσης και ενίσχυσης δεξιοτήτων των ΜΜΕ σε θέματα επιχειρηματικότητας, προβολής και μάρκετινγκ του αγροδιατροφικού τομέα.
