A technique that can be used in practice to produce algae for chicken feed based on the residual products from manure processing.

Activities
● Development of a cost-efficient production method / cultivation protocol of algae that can be applied in practice (on the farm) based on residual products from manure processing.
● In addition, an efficient application technique of fresh algae for poultry is being developed.
Activities
● Ontwikkeling van een in de praktijk (op de boerderij) toepasbare kosten-efficiënte productiewijze / teeltprotocol van algen op basis van restproducten uit de mestverwerking.
● Daarnaast wordt een efficiënte toedieningstechniek van verse algen voor pluimvee ontwikkeld.
Context
De restproducten van de mestverwerking leveren voor de veehouder weinig op. Een alternatief voor deze restproducten zou kunnen zijn dat deze als grondstof dient voor de productie van algen dat bestemd is voor veevoer.
