Building future-proof villages through participation
Zusammenfassung
This initiative aims to bring together several rural municipalities to jointly explore how their villages can become “smart” — in ways that respect local identity and strengthen community life.
Each participating region will carry out its own local Smart Village process, involving citizens and local stakeholders to develop a shared strategy and implement at least one concrete action that improves everyday village life. This learning process between citizens and local stakeholders creates options to discover new ways of successful participation.
What connects all partners is a strong commitment to international learning and exchange. At various moments throughout the process, partners will meet (online and on-site) to share experiences, mutually inspire each other, and reflect on challenges and achievements.
