Podcast: A greener and fairer CAP

Episode 24 of the DG AGRI podcast Food for Europe talks about how the new CAP will contribute to the restoration of biodiversity. Wolfgang Burtscher, Director-General of DG AGRI mentions the direct payments: “At least 90% of agricultural land will be subject to minimum requirements. [For example] farmers have to set aside at least 4% of their agricultural land for purposes of biodiversity.”
