Membership

Who can join?

The Romanian NRN has a wide range of members. Currently, there are 2 007 registered members.

The NRN members are direct beneficiaries of NRN activities, such as working groups, meetings, conferences, exchanges, etc. During these activities, they have the opportunity to identify specific agricultural or non-agricultural problems and possible solutions.

How to get involved?

Registration for the NRN membership is open to everyone and is ongoing. Most members register at the time of specific NRN activities: campaigns, events, newsletters etc. While registering, NRN members need to specify the main sector(s) in which they operate.

Regional representation

16 regional units/antennas. The NRN Service of the Managing Authority represents the Network Support Unit (US NRN) existing at central and regional level. In order to ensure the efficiency of the NRN, the US NRN team will manage the activities of the Network for the Implementation of the Action Plan (AP) and will be composed of staff from the MA, from central and regional level (Country Rural Development Committees). Regional compartments, as regional units, will carry out networking tasks at regional level in the field of agriculture and rural development.

Governance

In implementing the activities , the NRN will be coordinated by the National Permanent Coordination Committee (NCC), a structure that brings together representative entities at local and national level, involved in agriculture and rural development, with an advisory, decision-making and strategic role.

The topics of interest for NRN activities will be established together with the NCC, depending on the priorities and needs of the CAP SP.
