Danish Network

The Danish CAP Network will increase stakeholder engagement and participation in the implementation of the CAP reform. This will be done, among other things, by providing information about the policy for agricultural support and by ensuring cooperation in terms of networks between organisations, administrations, advisors, researchers and other innovation actors in agriculture and rural development.

Objectives

The Danish CAP-Network aims to:

  • support activities in relevant forums for beneficiaries and stakeholders in order to create knowledge sharing about activities etc. within the framework of the CAP Strategic Plan;
  • support analytical work on developments in agriculture and rural areas;
  • provide information about activities in stakeholder forums in order to facilitate the exchange of experiences between stakeholders and support capacity building;
  • communicate on current cooperation and innovation projects within the framework of the CAP Strategic Plan, including possible funds and projects to apply for;
  • participate and contribute in European networking activities as appropriate, including participation in European CAP Network events and participation in relevant European clusters.

Membership

Who can join?

The network covers meetings in stakeholder forums and communication activities (these forums are collectively referred to as network activities) related to the EU's Common Agricultural Policy and its implementation in Denmark. Organisations, authorities, research institutions, etc. that participate in network activities are considered members of the Danish CAP Network.

How to get involved?

The Danish CAP-Network is established as an 'umbrella network'. This means that it covers existing stakeholder forum meetings and communication activities related to the EU´s Common Agricultural Policy and its implementation in Denmark via the Danish CAP-Strategic Plan.
