This seminar proposes a multidisciplinary reflection on the themes of the development of the suburbs and inland areas. It is the continuation of a line of historical-economic and historical-social research that we have been conducting for several years and which we would like to consolidate.

Their working hypothesis is based on a conception of local development processes that places people and social subjects at the centre as animators and interpreters of cultural, socio-economic and ethical-civil vitalities.
