Objectives

The overall objective of the project is to optimize the use of agrochemicals and other inputs in tomato industry cultivation, improve quality and facilitate the integral management of the industry tomato growing cycle, using information and comunication technology, hyperspectral technology and development of new specific predictive algorithms, which supports decision in key processes, thus achieving better productivity and a more sustainable crop to producers and cooperatives.

Objectives

El objetivo general del proyecto es la optimización del uso de agroquímicos y otros insumos en el cultivo de tomate de industria, mejora de la calidad y facilitar la gestión integral del ciclo de cultivo de tomate de industria, mediante una plataforma basada en tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones, tecnología hiperespectral y desarrollo de nuevos algoritmos predictivos específicos para el tomate de industria, que dé soporte a la decisión en los procesos clave, consiguiendo así mejor productividad y un cultivo más sostenible a productores y cooperativas.

Activities

Study of the state of the art of current remote sensing technologies.
Design and development of the UAV platform prototype and a platform or hangar that enables the autonomous take-off and landing of a multirotor UAV. 
Design and development of the subsystem responsible for the autonomous navigation of the UAV.
Analysis of factors related to soil that should be integrated into the platform.
Soil management test
Comprehensive monitoring of the crop
Processing of images
Definition of requirements, specifications and system design
Definition of the BI data model. Construction of control panels.
Model integration and algorithm development
Study and management of air safety
 

Activities

Estudio de estado del arte de las tecnologías de teledetección actuales.
Diseño y desarrollo del prototipo de plataforma UAV y de una plataforma o hangar que posibilite el despegue y aterrizaje autónomo de un UAV multirrotor
Diseño y desarrollo del subsistema responsable de la navegación autónoma del UAV
Análisis de factores relativos a suelo que deberán integrarse en la plataforma
Ensayo de gestión de suelo
Monitorización integral del cultivo
Procesado de imágenes
Definición de requisitos, especificaciones y diseño del sistema
Definición del modelo de datos de BI. Construcción de cuadros de mando
Integración de modelos y desarrollo de algoritmos
Estudio y gestión de seguridad aérea
