Objectives
The project for the planting of rosemary clones selected for their high yield and quality is carried out to face the problem generated in the areas of the Region of Murcia, where agricultural activity is being abandoned as a result of the limited use of water resources.
The objective of the project is the innovative planting of rosemary clones, and at the same time in parallel to have plant remains that serve as a nursery. Such a nursery would allow and encourage the expansion of the crop to revalue agricultural production in Murcia’s depressed and rural areas.

El proyecto para la plantación de clones de romero seleccionados por su alto rendimiento y calidad, se genera para afrontar el problema generado en las zonas de la Región de Murcia donde se está abandonando la actividad agraria por el acuciado limitante del recurso hídrico.
El objetivo del proyecto es la innovadora plantación de clones de romero y paralelamente disponer de material vegetal que sirva para vivero que permita y fomente la expansión del cultivo para revalorizar las producciones agrarias en zonas deprimidas del medio rural de la Región de Murcia.
Activities
A1.‐ Vegetative multiplication of selected rosemary clones A2.‐ Preparation and commissioning of plots for planting. Action A3. A4.‐ Analysis. For the control of the good management and the sustainability of the productions, analyses of mineral extraction in the plant will be carried out to adjust the nutritional demands, hence, avoiding the leaching of nutrients towards the groundwater tables. A5.‐ Calculation of the agronomic yields of the productions in the soil-climatic conditions of the crop. A6.‐ Quality control. A7.‐ Creation of nursery.

A1.‐ Multiplicación vegetativa de clones de romero seleccionados. A2.‐ Preparación y puesta a punto de parcelas para plantación. A3.‐ Manejo del cultivo. A4.‐ Análisis. A5.Cálculo de los rendimientos agronómicos de las producciones en las condiciones edafoclimáticas del cultivo. A6.‐ Control de calidad de los aceites producidos mediante el análisis del aceite esencial por cromatografía gaseosa acoplada a espectrometría de masas en los laboratorios del Imida. A7.‐ Creación de vivero.
