1 Practice Abstracts
The project will be solved at nine LHCs under the management of the company Objene lesy s.r.o. The total PUPFL area of these LHCs is approximately 1,770 ha. The forest property is in a state of significant damage to coniferous stands of all ages by the bark beetle. The essence of the innovation of the project consists in the creation of a new management concept with regard to the changed conditions as a result of the past calamity and changing climatic conditions. Demonstration objects will also be created for practical examples of applied procedures. At the same time, the software equipment that serves the forest owner as a LH record tool will be upgraded. In the first step, Foresta will analyze the effects of the disturbance on the woody composition.
Subsequently, the VÚLHM will prepare an assessment of the current state of health of stands, changes in the characteristics of forest habitats and the rate of degradation of forest soils. VÚLHM will also create 3 demonstration objects on which the forest owner can practically test the possible measures of the new concept. With the cooperation of all members of the operational group, a new management concept will be created, which will subsequently be implemented on the affected forest property with the cooperation of the members of the operational group. At the end, a final report on the implementation of the project will be prepared.
Projekt bude řešen na devíti LHC pod vedením společnosti Objene lesy s.r.o. Celková PUPFL plocha těchto LHC je přibližně 1 770 ha. Lesní majetek je ve stavu významného poškození jehličnatých porostů všech věkových kategorií kůrovcem. Podstatou inovace projektu je vytvoření nového managementového konceptu s ohledem na změněné podmínky v důsledku minulých pohrom a měnících se klimatických podmínek. Taktéž budou vytvořeny demonstrační objekty pro praktické příklady aplikovaných postupů. Současně bude modernizováno softwarové vybavení, které slouží vlastníkovi lesa jako nástroj pro evidenci LH. V prvním kroku Foresta analyzuje dopady narušení na dřevinnou skladbu.
Následně VÚLHM připraví hodnocení aktuálního stavu zdraví porostů, změn v charakteristikách lesních biotopů a míry degradace lesních půd. VÚLHM také vytvoří 3 demonstrační objekty, na kterých si může vlastník lesa prakticky vyzkoušet možná opatření nového konceptu. Ve spolupráci všech členů operační skupiny bude vytvořen nový koncept hospodaření, který bude následně realizován na postižené lesní nemovitosti se spoluprací členů operační skupiny. Na závěr bude připraven závěrečný report o realizaci projektu.
