Indoor housing and rearing conditions of ducks during growth and forced feeding period

Objectives
In Hungary and France, the breeding and farming of ducks have been made so far open-air or possibly in a space provided with a foil-covered roof but open sideways, and that was the practice in the other countries dealing with waterfowl breading. However, due to the more frequent break out of bird flu, poultry can be farmed in Hungary – according to the law – in such places where closed hold of birds can be solved in case of a further incidental brake out of the infection. Description of housing and rearing conditions have not been made yet which would set out the circumstances during the whole period of farming and forced feeding of ducks.*
Objectives
A kacsák tenyésztése, tartása eddig szabadtartásban történt, esetleg fóliaborítású illetve oldalról nyitott tető alatt, Magyarországon, Franciaországban és a többi víziszárnyas tenyésztéssel foglalkozó országban egyaránt. Azonban a madárinfluenza egyre gyakoribb és intenzívebb kitörése miatt Magyarországon - jogszabály szerint - csak olyan helyen tartható baromfi, ahol a madarak zárttartása megoldott egy esetleges újabb fertőzés kitörésekor.*
