Increasing the productivity and competitiveness of dairy farms using a collaborative model
Pieno ūkių produktyvumo ir konkurencingumo didinimas taikant bendradarbiavimo modelį
Objectives
The aim of the project is to demonstrate to small and medium-sized farms a model of cooperation, how, acting in a group, they could increase the productivity and competitiveness of their farms, without increasing the size of their farm (number of animals), but investing purposefully in measures related to increasing animal productivity (prevention of diseases in the herd, genetic improving the fund and drawing up feeding rations) and improving the overall management of the group's production processes, thus reducing the negative impact of farms on the environment.
Objectives
Projekto tikslas - pademonstruoti smulkiems ir vidutiniams ūkiams bendradarbiavimo modelį, kaip, veikdami grupėje, jie galėtų padidinti savo ūkių produktyvumą ir konkurencingumą, nedidinant savo ūkio dydžio (gyvulių skaičiaus), bet investuojant tikslingai į priemones susijusias su gyvulių produktyvumo didinimu (ligų prevenciją bandoje, genetinio fondo gerinimą ir šėrimo racionų sudarymą) bei gerinant bendrą grupės gamybos procesų vadybą, taip sumažinti ūkių neigiamą poveikį aplinkai.
Activities
Project tasks:
1. To ensure the health of animals;
2. Assess the genetic potential of farm animals and form an economically efficient herd from it;
3. Organize and optimize the animal feed ration, thanks to which the milk yield would increase, but the amount of GHG emitted would decrease;
4. To perform an analysis of the benefits and costs of the cooperation model and prepare recommendations;
5. Publish the results of the project.
Activities
Projekto uždaviniai:
1. Užtikrinti gyvulių sveikatingumą;
2. Įvertinti ūkio gyvulių genetinį potencialą ir iš jo suformuoti ekonomiškai efektyvią bandą;
3. Sutvarkyti ir optimizuoti gyvulių pašarų racioną, kurio dėka didėtų primelžis, bet mažėtų išskiriamo ŠESD kiekis;
4. Atlikti bendradarbiavimo modelio naudos ir kaštų analizę bei parengti rekomendacijas;
5. Viešinti projekto rezultatus.

1 Practice Abstracts
The farms will have healthier animals. There will be fewer animals with a high somatic number on the farm, which will increase milk sales, and there will be less defective milk. It is likely that the amount of milk added to the farms will increase by several percent.
The implementation of the EIP project aims to develop reasonable practical recommendations for the implementation of a complex of new methods in order to increase the sustainability, productivity and competitiveness of the dairy sector;
The EIP project creates additional economic value and environmental improvement benefits in order to preserve the environment and rationally use resources;
The results created during the project will not only solve the problem of milk producers - reducing the number of somatic cell and mastitis diseases, but will also contribute to the implementation of the European Green Deal by reducing the need for the use of antimicrobials, thereby increasing the value of other RDP measures aimed at increasing the competitiveness of agricultural entities .
The Chamber of Agriculture is a member of international organizations such as COPA - COGECA, IDF, with extensive experience in international cooperation, so the practical applicability of the project results and the extent of dissemination of the results will be international.
Ūkiuose bus sveikesni gyvuliai. Mažiau bus aukštą somatinį skaičių turinčių gyvulių ūkyje, kas leis didinti pieno pardavimus, bus mažiau brokuojamo pieno. Tikėtina, kad ūkiuose keliais procentais padidės priduodamo pieno kiekis.
Įgyvendinant EIP projektą siekiama parengti pagrįstas praktines rekomendacijos dėl naujų metodų komplekso diegimo, siekiant padidinti pieno sektoriaus tvarumą, našumą ir konkurencingumą;
EIP projektu sukuriama papildoma ekonominė vertė ir aplinkos gerinimo nauda siekiant tausoti aplinką ir racionaliai naudoti išteklius;
Projekto metu sukurti rezultatai ne tik išspręs pieno gamintojų problemą – mažinti somatinių ląstelių ir mastitų susirgimų skaičius, bet ir prisidės prie Europos žaliojo kurso įgyvendinimo, nes bus sumažintas poreikis antimikrobinių medžiagų naudojimui, taip didinant kitų KPP priemonių, skirtų didinti žemės ūkio subjektų konkurencingumą, vertę.
Žemės ūkio rūmai yra tarptautinių organizacijų, tokių kaip COPA – COGECA, IDF, nariai, turintys didelę tarptautinio bendradarbiavimo patirtį, todėl projekto rezultatų praktinis taikomumas ir sukurtų rezultatų sklaidos mastas bus tarptautinis.
