1 Practice Abstracts

In the Duivendrechtsche polder near Amsterdam, farmers are working on an integrated area plan with extensification measures to achieve a balance between climate (change), biodiversity and agricultural production. Opportunities can arise through the use of land from farmers who are ceasing their activities by transforming companies in combination with measures for rewetting and nature. By working together and sharing knowledge with governments and organisations, the farmers are striving for a broadly supported and feasible area plan.
