Objectives

To find a new solution for the wholesome use of dry matter of whey for products with a higher added value and a greater consumption/sales potential.

Rast jaunu risinājumu pilnvērtīgai sūkalu sausnas izmantošanai produktos ar augstāku pievienoto vērtību un lielāku patēriņa/noieta potenciālu apjoma ziņā.

Activities

Within the project, a new technology for production of lactobionic acid will be developed, that will allow to improve milk processing and to create innovative products, expanding assortment of products, increasing cheese output, extending shelf life. Whey processing method will be developed, that will reduce a negative impact on environment, minimize whey recycling costs. The new product - lactobionic acid will be created, that will enhance livestock’s immune system and productivity, reducing cost of prophylactic treatment and a negative impact of drugs on humans and the environment.

Activities

Projekta ietvaros tiek izstrādāta tehnoloģija laktobionskābes iegūšanai, kas ļaus pilnveidot piena pārstrādi un radīs inovatīvus produktus, paplašinot produktu sortimentu, palielinot siera iznākumu, pagarinot produkta derīguma termiņu. Tiks izstrādāta sūkalu pārstrādes metode, kas ļaus samazināt negatīvo ietekmi uz apkārtējo vidi, minimizējot izmaksas sūkalu utilizācijai, un izveidots jauns produkts - laktobionskābe, kas ļaus palielināt lopu un putnu imunitāti un produktivitāti, samazinot ārstēšanas izdevumus profilaktiskiem mērķiem un medikamentu negatīvo ietekmi uz cilvēku un apkārtējo vidi.
