Objectives
To develop an optical bacteria classifier that scans agar plates and identifies bacteria cultures in real-time, with the same reliability as an examining laboratory. The innovation will reduce cultivation- and analysis costs for dairy farmers and veterinarians, increase accuracy of identifying the right bacteria and reduce response time to samples.

Ta fram en optisk bakterieklassificerare som scannar odlingsplattor och identifierar bakteriekulturer i realtid med samma tillförlitlighet som ett undersökande laboratorium. Innovationen ska reducera odlings- och analyskostnader för mjölkbönder och veterinärer, öka träffsäkerheten att rätt bakterie identifieras samt minska svarstiden på prover.
Activities
The project will run over 18 months. During this period, we will develop a prototype, validate the classifier and evaluate the technology and the intended business model of selected veterinarians and dairy farmers.
