LAG strategy
Key Themes of LAG Strategy
Located in a predominantly mountainous region, the Napoca Porolissum LAG sees strong potential for developing creative tourism, focusing on cultural heritage, community connectivity, experiential tourism, sustainability, and innovation. The area is already recognized for its creative tourism appeal, making it essential to highlight and invest in this sector. The emphasis will be on the "Napoca Porolissum Creative Treasure" to offer visitors unique experiences while boosting local development, diversifying economic activities, and creating new job opportunities. The LAG team conducted in-depth territorial research—through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and local meetings—to assess needs, opportunities, and challenges. Results show a high potential for creative tourism and strong community interest. The unifying theme identified is Napoca Porolissum Creative Treasure: Where Past Meets Future, reflecting the region's identity and aspirations.
