Explore how digitalisation, AKIS and policy combine to build resilient, inclusive agriculture: join the CODECS Bootcamp for actionable insights and peer learning.

The agriculture sector is undergoing rapid digital transformation to respond to global challenges such as climate change, resource pressures and food security.

But technology alone is not enough: success lies at the intersection of inclusive innovation, robust knowledge & innovation systems (AKIS), and enabling policy frameworks.

The CODECS Bootcamp – 2025 offers a compact, high-impact learning opportunity to bridge theory and practice. Through real-world demos, interactive webinars and policy reflections, this event will help participants understand how digital solutions are deployed on the ground, how AKIS can support sustainable adoption, and what role policy must play to unlock long-term resilience.

We’ve structured the session into three focused webinars:

  • Webinar A: Demonstrating farm digitalisation — see how digital tools operate in real contexts, and discuss successes & barriers.
  • Webinar B: The role of AKIS for sustainable digitalisation — explore mechanisms and strategies that bridge research, advisory & practice.
  • Webinar C: Policies for sustainable digitalisation — reflect on policy design, incentives and governance to enable fair and scalable digitalisation.

This Bootcamp is ideal for researchers, agricultural advisors, policymakers and practitioners seeking to deepen their understanding of how to integrate digital agriculture within knowledge systems and policy for inclusive and resilient rural development. Organised within the CODECS Knowledge Accelerator, the event fosters capacity building, mutual learning and actionable dialogue across sectors.

Join us online on 8 October 2025 (09:00–13:30 CET) to engage with peers, hear from experts, and shape the future of digital agriculture.
