Within the Horizon Europe project BEATLES, AEIDL (European Association for Innovation in Local Development) leads the work package on transition through policy recommendations and tools, and coordinates this EU group.

The EU multi-actor working group is conceived of as a Europe-wide Science-Society-Policy group formed by stakeholders involved in transition processes (EU institutions, public authorities, researchers, advisors, farmers, others).

On 13 January 2025 from 10.00 am to 1 pm (CET), AEIDL will hold the second EU multi-actor working group workshop online.

On the back of the Political Guidelines for the next European Commission 2024-2029, the final report of the Strategic Dialogue for the Future of Agriculture and the upcoming Vision for Agriculture and Food, this second EU multi-actor working group workshop aims to co-design solutions and EU policy recommendations to expand Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) towards 2030 and 2040.

Through a collaborative policy hackathon methodology, participants will work in expert pairs to address a series of challenge statements, brainstorming and co-developing innovative solutions that enhance EU policy alignment with CSA goals while promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

For the agenda point of Participant insights, a group of approximately 20 participants will be selected, allowing for 10 pairs to work simultaneously.

Express your interest by 13 December.
