On 11–12 November 2026, women farmers from across Europe will meet in Brussels for the first in-person seminar of the Women in Farming Platform. The event will create space to share experiences, learn from one another and explore practical approaches to mentoring, access to funding, advice and training.

This evaluation of 25 local food projects and five good practices in Flanders (Belgium) identifies how rural policy can better support resilient local food systems. Findings indicate that projects strengthened awareness and cooperation, but often faced challenges in scaling up and sustaining results.
