Objectives

Swedish Protein Crops as Raw Material for the Food Industry

Our vision is that Swedish agriculture can produce protein crops as raw material for primarely swedish food industry and secondarily for international food industry, and to do this long term and on a large scale. The protein raw material is to be used for a new generation of wholesame food that is sustainable from a climate and environment perspective and economically viable.

Objectives

Vår vision är att svenskt jordbruk långsiktigt och storskaligt kan producera vegetabilisk proteinråvara baserade på fababöna (bondbönor och åkerbönor är av släktet Vicia faba och benämns internationellt som fababönor)och blå lupin/sötlupin (Lupinus angustifolius) till i första hand svensk och i andra hand internationell livsmedelsindustri. Proteinråvaran ska kunna användas till en ny generation hälsosamma, miljö- och klimatanpassade och ekonomiskt bärkraftiga livsmedel.
