Objectives
The aim of the project - to assess the soil moisture regime regulatory measures and their effectiveness in Lithuanian territory and provide economic and environmental benefits in order to increase the competitiveness of agriculture and encourage farmers to introduce research-based innovative technologies to ensure the sustainable use of natural water resources and environmental preservation.
Objectives
Projekto tikslas ‒ įvertinti dirvožemio drėgmės režimo reguliavimo priemones ir jų taikymo efektyvumą Lietuvos teritorijoje bei jų teikiamą ekonominę bei ekologinę naudą, siekiant didinti žemės ūkio konkurencingumą ir skatinti ūkininkus diegti moksliniais tyrimais grįstas inovatyvias technologijas užtikrinančias darnų gamtinių vandens išteklių naudojimą ir aplinkos puoselėjimą.
Activities
Project objectives: 1) to construct pilot objects in different regions of the country ; 2) to strengthen skills and abilities of workers in agricultural sector, 3) to experimentally substantiate technological innovation - drain leakage control systems and soil moisture capture, under specified conditions; 4) to evaluate the drainage runoff regulation system according to economic activity, texture, soil composition and etc; 5) innovation cost of a wide range of farming conditions; 6) to identify and scientifically substantiate drainage runoff regulation of automated control system design options; 7) to prepare the drainage runoff regulation technology.
Activities
Projekto uždaviniai: 1) įrengti bandomuosius objektus skirtinguose šalies regionuose; 2) stiprinti dirbančiųjų žemės ūkyje įgūdžius; 3) eksperimentiškai pagrįsti technologinės inovacijos ‒ drenažo nuotėkio valdymo sistemų valdymą ir dirvožemio drėgmės fiksavimą, konkrečiomis sąlygomis; 4) įvertinti drenažo nuotėkio reguliavimo sistemą pagal ūkinę veiklą, granuliometrinę dirvožemio sudėtį ir kt.; 5) inovaciją ekonomiškai pagrįsti įvairiomis ūkininkavimo sąlygomis; 6) identifikuoti ir pagrįsti drenažo nuotėkio reguliavimo automatizuoto valdymo sistemos modelį; 7) parengti rekomendacijas drenažo nuotėkio reguliavimo technologijų diegimui.
Contexte
There is one-way humidity control mode - draining commonly used in Lithuania. Climate change increases the risk for moisture unevenness for plants during the growing season. Optimally adjusting the moisture regime nutrients (and fertilizer) are used more efficient and surface water bodies are protected from unwanted pollution. Farmers face crop losses due to lack of moisture. The evaluation of soil moisture regime regulatory measures and their effectiveness, given the economic and ecological benefits, farmers will be encouraged to apply innovative technologies. The main beneficiaries of the project - agricultural producers.

1 Practice Abstracts
While implementing the project research units will be set up. In these research units observations will be carried out which are necessary for soil moisture assessment and technological innovation. The main problem, which will help to solve this project is the sustainable use of soil water resource management, integrated by adapting existing and building new drainage systems for moisture accumulation. The implementation of the project is organized in the EIP group activities: business meetings, meetings, discussions and seminars.
After the installation of drainage runoff regulation technological innovation in partner’s farms the consultations will take place, which are based on drainage runoff management and evaluation of automated management capabilities in them. During the implementation the project will achieve results: drainage runoff management system will be matched by ongoing economic activities and natural conditions, innovation will be evaluated economically. The practical result of the project - a common recommendation for implementation of innovation nationwide.
Įgyvendinant projektą bus įrengti tyrimų objektai, kuriuose vykdomi stebėjimai, būtini dirvožemio drėgmės išteklių vertinimui ir technologinei inovacijai pagrįsti. Problema, kurią padės spręsti projektas yra tausus dirvožemio vandens išteklų valdymas, kompleksiškai pritaikant esamas ir kuriant naujas sausinimo sistemas drėgmės atsagų kaupimui. Projekto įgyvendinimas organizuojamas vykdant EIP grupės veiklas: dalykinius susitikimus, susirinkimus, diskusijas ir seminarus. Įrengus drenažo nuotėkio reguliavimo technologines inovacijas partnerių ūkiuose, bus vykdomas konsultavimas, pagrįstas drenažo nuotėkio valdymas ir įvertintos automatizuoto valdymo galimybės jose. Projekto įgyvendinimo metu bus pasiekti rezultatai: drenažo nuotėkių valdymo sistema bus priderinta pagal vykdomą ūkinę veiklą bei gamtines sąlygas, inovacija bus įvertinta ekonomiškai. Praktinis projekto rezultatas - bendrosios rekomendacijos inovacijai diegti šalies mastu.
