Objectives
In the capital region of Berlin-Brandenburg, locally produced organic vegetables are in high demand. Due to a range of problems in the food chain, this demand cannot be met. The Operational Group “Regionales Bio-Gemüse aus Brandenburg” consists of 15 partners: farms, processing companies, food retailers, and the catering industry as well as advisory bodies and a university. The group will unlock the full potential of the value chain for organic vegetables produced in Brandenburg, by developing effective production and logistic processes and software for coordinating local vegetable food value chains and managing interactions between food chain actors.
Objectives
Ziel des Projektes ist die Entwicklung von Prozessen und Software für eine koordinierte Produktion und Logistik zwischen Gemüsebaubetrieben und zu den nachgelagerten Wertschöpfungsstufen. Damit werden die Einstiegsbarrieren überwunden und vorhandene Wertschöpfungspotenziale für Betriebe und nachgelagerte Wertschöpfungsstufen erschlossen. Gemeinsam mit etablierten Bio-Gemüsebau-Betrieben soll eine koordinierte Anbauplanung zwischen den Betrieben realisiert, die Produktion an die Anforderungen der Angebots- und Nachfrageseite angepasst und die Waren- und Informationsströme in Software und effiziente Lager- und Logistik- und Vorverarbeitungslösungen überführt werden.
