De problematiek rond antibioticaresistentie en de uitspoeling van resistente bacteriën of residuen van antibiotica (en andere middelen) naar bodem/water begint ernstige vormen aan te nemen.

A ready-to-use integration of meadow herbs (both in grazing and in roughage) supported by an effective system to monitor the health of dairy cattle.

Een praktijkklare inpassing van weidekruiden (zowel in weidegang als in ruwvoer) ondersteund door een effectief systeem om de gezondheid van melkvee te volgen.
Activities
● The inclusion of pasture herbs in ration to promote general resistance of the dairy cattle and the reduction of antibiotic use and other medicines.
● The development of a standardized system (protocol) to monitor the effect of herbs as animal fodder as well as their impact on animal health.

● Het inpassen van weidekruiden in rantsoen ter bevordering van algemene weerstand van het melkvee en het reduceren van antibioticagebruik en andere geneesmiddelen.
● Het ontwikkelen van een gestandaardiseerde systematiek (protocol) om het effect van kruiden als veevoeder te monitoren evenals de uitwerking ervan op de diergezondheid .
