1 Practice Abstracts

In this project, the Veenweidelandgoed It Akkrumer Deel Foundation will enter into a new partnership with several farmers who are active in an area adjacent to the polders where the foundation has been active to date. This partnership wants to explore the possibilities for peat rewetting by raising the ditch level together with other stakeholders. In addition, the partnership will look at the desirability and possibilities for the application of water infiltration systems and monitoring with level tubes. The results of this plan study will be recorded in an area plan. This area plan is in principle the intended basis for a joint CAP application in the spring of 2025 for the rollout of the measures.

Stichting Veenweidelandgoed It Akkrumer Deel gaat in dit project een nieuwe samenwerking aan met meerdere agrariërs die actief zijn in een gebied aangrenzend aan de polders waar de stichting tot op heden actief is geweest.

Dit samenwerkingsverband wil samen met andere stakeholders de mogelijkheden gaan verkennen voor veenvernatting middels slootpeilverhoging. Aanvullend gaat het samenwerkingsverband kijken naar de wenselijkheid en mogelijkheden voor toepassing van waterinfiltratiesystemen en monitoring met peilbuizen. De resultaten van deze planstudie worden vastgelegd in een gebiedsplan. Dit gebiedsplan is in principe de beoogde basis voor een gezamenlijke GLB aanvraag in het voorjaar van 2025 voor de uitrol van de maatregelen.
