Objectives

The objective is to establish a regional value chain for organically grown fine vegetables. An innovative approach is to integrate the fine vegetable cultivation into the agricultural crop rotation. Typically, fine vegetables are grown in nurseries that are hardly established in northern Hesse. In order to serve the potential sales, various innovative concepts are developed and tested for their suitability for practical use. This includes labor organization, cultivation of site-adapted species, special counseling modules + job creation for people with disabilities. For the workshop workers of the Hephata Diakonie, the project enables a new meaningful activity + thus a further step of inclusion
