Objectives

The operational group wants to innovate the current monitoring and warning systems for leek and Brassica by analyzing the current systems and integrating success stories from neighboring countries. The group wants to develop systems that are communicated quickly and tailored to growers and used more intensively. As a result of a more frequent use of the systems, advice and spraying schedules will be even more based on the monitoring and warning systems. Growers' knowledge and attention about beneficials will improve, as well as the use of selective crop protection products and integrated crop protection. The project can also stimulate new research projects about specific pests and diseases.

Objectives

De operationele groep wil de huidige waarnemings- en waarschuwingssystemen innoveren door analyse van de huidige systemen en integratie van succesverhalen uit buurlanden. De OG wil een systemen ontwikkelen die snel en op maat van de telers gecommuniceerd worden en intensiever gebruikt worden. Door een frequenter gebruik zullen adviezen en spuitschema’s nog meer gebaseerd zijn op de W&W-systemen. De kennis en aandacht van de telers over nuttigen zal verbeteren alsook het gebruik van selectieve middelen en geïntegreerde gewasbescherming. Het project kan daarnaast ook nieuwe onderzoeksprojecten en onderzoeksvragen aanwakkeren rond bepaalde plagen en ziekten.

- Evaluation of current monitoring and warning systems
- Inventory and evaluation of systems in neighboring countries
- Analysis of the evaluation of the current systems and integration of success stories from abroad
- Action plan for further research and development of the current systems into innovative monitoring and warning systems
- Demonstration and broad dissemination of knowledge of the experiences and best available techniques to the stakeholders (growers, government, companies, researchers) so that they can continue to work on reaching a wider target group of growers

- Evaluatie van de huidige W&W-systemen
- Inventarisatie en evaluatie W&W-systemen in buurlanden
- Analyseren van de evaluatie van het huidig systeem en integratie van succesverhalen uit het buitenland
- Actieplan voor verder onderzoek en ontwikkeling van huidig systeem naar een vernieuwend W&W-systeem
- Demonstratie en brede kennisverspreiding van de opgedane ervaringen en best beschikbare technieken naar de stakeholders (telers, overheid, bedrijven, onderzoekers) zodat op deze technieken kan verder gewerkt worden met het oog op het doorstromen naar een ruimere doelgroep van telers
