Objectives

The overarching aim of the project is the development, planning and construction of a fully mobile slaughter unit ready for EU approval. The innovative character of the project lies in the suitability of the fully mobile slaughterhouse for several types of livestock and the completely independent use of water, waste water and electricity. This should ultimately also enable pasture slaughtering and slaughtering in undeveloped locations.

Übergeordnetes Ziel des Vorhabens ist die Entwicklung, Planung und Konstruktion einer EU-zulassungsreifen vollmobilen Schlachteinheit. Der innovative Charakter des Vorhabens liegt hierbei in der Eignung der vollmobilen Schlachtstätte für mehrere Nutztierarten und der völlig unabhängigen Einsatzmöglichkeit hinsichtlich Wasser, Abwasser und Strom. Dies soll letztendlich auch die Weideschlachtung und die Schlachtung an unerschlossenen Standorten ermöglichen.

Activities

Specific requirements and the challenges of meat hygiene and logistics are to be combined with the economic aspects. In addition, the predominantly theoretical discussions on mobile slaughtering to date are to be permanently transferred into practice through the implementation of a new, self-sufficient, fully mobile slaughterhouse.

Activities

Spezifische Anforderungen und die Herausforderungen an Fleischhygiene und Logistik sollen mit den wirtschaftlichen Aspekten verknüpft werden. Weiterführend sollen die bisher vorwiegend theoretischen Diskussionen zur mobilen Schlachtung durch die Umsetzung einer neuartigen, autark einsetzbaren vollmobilen Schlachtstätte dauerhaft in die Praxis überführt werden.
