1 Practice Abstracts

Vooruitboeren in Vlist-West is a partnership of all four dairy farmers from Vlist-West. Aimed at jointly exploring possibilities to achieve the implementation of the NPLG objectives for the Vlist-West polder, with an emphasis on soil subsidence and greenhouse gas reduction in combination with strengthening the meadow bird habitat. In the coming 2 years we want to explore whether and if so how this is possible by jointly developing a line of thought with all companies to achieve the desired realization phase. We really want to get started with each other and do something. We will complete the project when that is completely clear to us. Our ambition is to complete this in just over a year, but to be on the safe side we are setting the term at 2 years. We want to present ourselves in particular as a meadow bird polder with young, future-oriented dairy farmers from Vlist-West who want to farm forward with respect for nature. Because that is what we are.

Vooruitboeren in Vlist-West is een samenwerkingsverband van alle vier de melkveehouders uit Vlist-West. Gericht op het samen verkennen van mogelijkheden om te komen tot uitvoering van de NPLG-doelen voor polder Vlist-West, met nadruk op bodemdaling- en broeikasgasreductie in combinatie met versterken van de weidevogelbiotoop. In de komende 2 jaar willen we verkennen of en zo ja hoe dit mogelijk is door met alle bedrijven gezamenlijk denkrichting(en) uit te zetten om te komen tot de gewenste realisatiefase. We willen echt aan de slag met elkaar en wat gaan DOEN. We ronden het project af als dat voor ons volledig duidelijk is. Onze ambitie is om dit in ruim één jaar af te ronden, maar voor de zekerheid zetten we de looptijd op 2 jaar. We willen ons met name als weidevogelpolder met jonge toekomstgerichte melkveehouders uit Vlist-West presenteren die vooruit willen boeren met respect voor de natuur. Want dat is wat we zijn.
