Objectives
The farmer creates his field on the website, then he declares his interventions (sowing, fertilization, irrigation) via a conversational robot (chatbot). Every night, with updated weather data and LAI (Leaf Area Index) value, the arvalis model produces graphs of water and nitrogen nutrition of the wheat that will help the farmer to make his decisions, supported by operational advice from the technical referent.
Objectives
Activities
Development of the computer interface and dialogue with the arvalis model, testing with producers on 7 fields in 2018 and 20 in 2019, support for producers in getting to grips with and using the tool.
Activities

1 Practice Abstracts
Epilot works. The interface allows the farmer and/or his adviser to declare wheat fields, an automatic calculation is generated every evening with the updated weather and crop information (satellite photos or field sensors) with graphic outputs to help make his decisions about nitrogen fertilization and irrigation. This decision support tool therefore allows to stick to the climate of the year (even in the presence of strong hazards) and to the real development of the crop, and thus to adjust its interventions as well as possible: nitrogen savings, water savings.
