Objectives
The project aims to develop tools for modeling the distribution of Vespa velutina and detecting nests with UAVs. Specific objectives: 1) Select key variables for distribution and nest establishment. 2) Create an Artificial Vision system for automatic detection of velutina nests. 3) Develop a predictive model of Vespa velutina's distribution in Asturias. 4) Validate these tools and generate a risk map.
Objectives
El proyecto busca desarrollar herramientas para modelar la distribución de Vespa velutina y detectar nidos con UAVs. Objetivos específicos: 1) Seleccionar variables clave para la distribución y establecimiento de nidos. 2) Crear un sistema de Visión Artificial para detectar automáticamente nidos de velutina. 3) Desarrollar un modelo predictivo de la distribución de Vespa velutina en Asturias. 4) Validar estas herramientas y generar un mapa de riesgo.
Activities
This project comprehensively addresses the issue of the Vespa velutina, The activities are:
1.generating and selecting covariables to model the ecological niche of the Vespa velutina.
2.develops an artificial vision system for detecting nests using UAVs. The data collection is designed in areas of high nest density, flights are executed with UAVs equipped with advanced sensors, and these data are processed, including nest labeling. 3.involves developing a potential distribution model for the species. The model is developed using supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, followed by a statistical evaluation of the model.
4.focuses on validating the models and generating risk maps.
Activities
Este proyecto aborda de manera integral la problemática de la Vespa velutina. Las actividades son:
1 se centra en la generación y selección de covariables para modelar el nicho ecológico de la Vespa velutina.
2 desarrolla un sistema de visión artificial para la detección de nidos mediante UAVs.
3 implica el desarrollo de un modelo de distribución potencial de la especie.
4 se enfoca en la validación de los modelos y la generación de mapas de riesgo.
