Contexte
Partner 1 and Partner 3 are part of the organizations dedicated organic vegetables and fruits. Also, SC Pereco SRL and SC Integro Management Consult SRL are part of the Bio Concept Cluster Valea Prahovei, a cluster oriented towards the promotion of organic farming in the Prahova Valley area.
The problems and difficulties faced by the members of the association and in general by the active farmers in ecological horticulture were discussed. One of the most common problems identified is the lack of workforce,
The project seeks to identify a solution applicable to organic farms. With this in mind, GO has identified the need for a modular system that can be adapted to meet the needs of a wider range of farms.
The system is especially designed for organic farms, but it can certainly be used on conventional farms as well.
In addition to this, the adaptability capacity due to platform modularity and consequently the possibility of using this platform in a wide variety of fruit farm profiles was appreciated as a very efficient strategy in reaching an efficient solution to solve the problems of farmers.
The monitoring capacity of the fruit plantations as well as the solution for the efficient use of the control products through their local application will result in a high efficiency and implicitly a reduction of the maintenance costs of the plantation.
In conclusion, the robotic ROBO - FERMIER robotic platform proves to be a solution for the real and practical problems identified in the organic fruit farms, and the result of the project has great chances to be assimilated into the real economy
Objectives
The main objective of the project is the establishment and operation of the Operational Group (GO) in order to develop together with its partners an efficient solution to problems specific to ecological fruit growing and lack of human workforce.
The pilot project proposed by GO aims at the realization and testing of "precision agriculture" in the context of organic fruit growing, by developing an autonomous robotic solution for the purpose of carrying out works from fruit plantations.
Objectives
Obiectivul principal al proiectului consta in înființarea și funcționarea Grupului Operational (GO) cu scopul de a dezvolta în comun cu partenerii, o solutie eficienta la probleme specifice pomiculturii ecologice, lipsa de forta de munca umana.
Proiectul pilot propuse de GO, urmareste realizarea si testarea in contextul pomiculturii ecologice, a „agriculturii de precizie”, prin dezvoltarea unei solutii robotice autonome in scopul executarii lucrarilor din plantatiile pomicole.
