Contexte
Een toekomstbestendige invulling geven van vrijgekomen agrarische bedrijfsgebouwen, rekening houdend met en inspelend op cultuurhistorie, landschap en de geografische situatie (agrarisch uitloopgebied voor de stedeling.
Objectives
Results for the Houterman and Roeloefsen business locations:Reallocations have been worked out for vacant agricultural buildings. De Groote Locht (Houterman) wants to rent spaces to care entrepreneurs for youth guidance. Maatschap Roelofsen wants to realize a residential care location for the demented elderly and an inspiration spot for food entrepreneurs. Laws and regulations are delaying the process.Results for umbrella network concept:'Food World' was developed to promote sustainable food from the region. A design for 'Spot 14' near Hornbach, Nijmegen-North, supported by a citizens' initiative group, serves as an entrance to Food World.

De Groote Locht (Houterman) wil ruimtes verhuren aan zorgondernemers voor jeugdbegeleiding. Maatschap Roelofsen wil een woonzorglocatie voor dementerende ouderen en een inspiratieplek voor food-ondernemers realiseren. Wet- en regelgeving vertraagt het proces.Resultaten t.b.v. overkoepelend netwerkconcept:‘Food World’ is ontwikkeld om duurzaam voedsel uit de regio te promoten. Een ontwerp voor ‘Vlek 14’ bij Hornbach, Nijmegen-Noord, gesteund door een burgerinitiatiefgroep, dient als entree naar Food World.

The project focuses on future-proof reallocation of vacant agricultural farm buildings with attention to cultural history and landscape. Plans have been developed for the Houterman and Maatschap Roelofsen locations. Houterman wants to rent spaces to care entrepreneurs for vulnerable youth, while Roelofsen wants to realize a residential care location for elderly people with dementia and an inspiration place for food entrepreneurs.
However, both plans are delayed by regulations and permit requirements.
In addition, the “Food World” concept has been developed, a rural attraction that makes visitors aware of sustainable food from the region. A feasibility study for this concept has been requested, and a design for a food park in Nijmegen-North is under development.
Het project richt zich op het toekomstbestendig herbestemmen van leegstaande agrarische bedrijfsgebouwen met aandacht voor cultuurhistorie en landschap. Voor de locaties Houterman en Maatschap Roelofsen zijn plannen ontwikkeld. Houterman wil ruimtes verhuren aan zorgondernemers voor kwetsbare jeugd, terwijl Roelofsen een woonzorglocatie voor ouderen met dementie en een inspiratieplek voor food-ondernemers wil realiseren. Beide plannen worden echter vertraagd door regelgeving en vergunningseisen.
Daarnaast is het concept "Food World" ontwikkeld, een plattelandsattractie die bezoekers bewust maakt van duurzaam voedsel uit de regio. Een haalbaarheidsonderzoek voor dit concept is aangevraagd, en een ontwerp voor een voedselpark in Nijmegen-Noord is in ontwikkeling.
