1 Practice Abstracts
Resource-efficient agriculture and food production are becoming increasingly important in the context of environmental, nature and climate protection and food security for a growing world population. In addition to innovative production methods, the preservation of fresh food is therefore crucial. This is particularly relevant for sensitive products such as soft fruit and leafy vegetables. The ‘BlaubaD’ OG therefore develops and tests a simple and cost-effective disinfection module that can be used for the decontamination of fresh food in accordance with the rules in force.
Eine ressourcenschonende Landwirtschaft und Lebensmittelproduktion gewinnt vor dem Hintergrund des Umwelt-, Natur- und Klimaschutzes sowie der Ernährungssicherung einer wachsenden Weltbevölkerung immer mehr an Bedeutung. Neben innovativen Produktionsmethoden ist deshalb die Haltbarkeit frischer Nahrungsmittel entscheidend. Insbesondere bei empfindlichen Produkten wie Beerenobst und Blattgemüse kommt dies zum Tragen. Die OG „BlaubaD“ entwickelt und erprobt deshalb ein einfaches und kostengünstiges Desinfektionsmodul, welches in Übereinstimmung mit herrschenden Regularien für die Entkeimung von frischen Lebensmitteln eingesetzt werden kann.
