Objectives
Within the general phenomenon of changing climatic conditions the olive industry has also had to adjust the technology of cultivation and proceed to the installation of irrigation systems in olive groves. Several studies have shown that olive tree irrigation is an appropriate countermeasure to climate change. Because of the lack of knowledge and fear of economic inviolability, olive growers rarely opt install an irrigation system. By transferring research results into practice while simultaneously evaluating economic viability, a wider range of olive groves will have knowledge and tools to evaluate the justification of irrigation and establish an automated irrigation system in the plantation.
Objectives
Ob splošnemu spreminjanju podnebnih razmer se je tudi v oljkarstvu pojavila potreba po prilagoditvi tehnologije pridelave oljk in namestitvi namakalnih sistemov v oljčne nasade.Številne raziskave so pokazale, da je namakanje oljk ustrezen ukrep za blaženje podnebnih sprememb.Kljub temu se pridelovalci oljk, zaradi pomanjkanja znanja in bojazni o ekonomski neupravičenosti, le redko odločijo za postavitev namakalnega sistema.S prenosom raziskovalnih rezultatov v prakso ob hkratnem ovrednotenju ekonomske upravičenosti, bomo širši krog oljkarjev opremili z znanjem in orodji s katerimi bodo lahko ovrednotili upravičenost namakanja in vzpostavili avtomatiziran namakalni sistem v nasadu
Activities

2. A) Realization of 3. training events (water resources, automation equipment, response of olive trees to drought)
2. B) Measurement - monitoring environment parameters, plant condition, crop quality and quantity, management of financial assets on 7 agricultural holdings
3. Implementation at 7 locations of a practical test of automated irrigation
4. Economic feasibility analysis and elaboration of a basic viability calculating model for olive trees irrigation
5. Dissemination of results (excursion, practical demonstrations, creation of reference material, media statements, social network divulgation, professional articles and conferences)

B) Izvajanje meritev - spremljali parametrov okolja, stanja rastline, kakovost ter količino pridelka in porabo finančnih sredstev na 7 kmetijskih gospodarstvih
3. Priprava in izvedba praktičnega preizkusa avtomatiziranega namakanja na 7 lokacijah
4. Analiza ekonomske upravičenosti namakanja oljk in izdelava osnovnega modela za izračun upravičenosti namakanja oljk
5. Razširjanje rezultatov (izvedba ekskurzije, izvedba 4 praktičnih prikazov, izdelava gradiva za uporabnike, izjave za medije in socialna omrežja, strokovni članki, konference)
