Aurimas Macnorius – Supporting a young entrepreneur

RDP support helped a young entrepreneur to acquire the necessary equipment in order to start his own wood construction business in an area of high unemployment.

    Summary

    Aurimas Macnorius, who trained as a builder/interior finisher, applied for RDP support in order to start his business, create a work place for himself and secure a steady income to live in the countryside.

    RDP support enabled Aurimas to set up his workplace and acquire low-energy and low-pollution wood work equipment and a lorry. He could then begin constructing wooden terraces, and other small seasonal wood items that are required in his area.

    Results

    The beneficiary was able to set up a successful business with a revenue of EUR 3 500, exceeding the planned sales revenue of EUR 2 720.
