Objectives

Identify the sustainabliltiy performance of regional pig farming. Identify potential measures to increas the sustainability performance of a regional pig farm. Identify possible information, remuneration, dilivery and cntract systems through which the services provided are remunerated. Identify susteainability services to improve the image and therby increase the appreciation of regional pork production.

Objectives

Identifizierung der Nachhhaltigkeitsleistungen einer regionalen Schweinehaltung. Aufzeigen potenzieller Maßnahmen zur Steigerung der Nachhaltigkeitsleistungen einer regionalen Schweinehaltung. Aufzeigen möglicher Informations-, Honorierungs-, Liefer- und Vertragssysteme durch die die erbrachten Leistungen vergütet werden. Identifizierung von Nachhaltigkeitsleistungen zur Imageverbesserung und dadurch zur Steigerung der Wertschätzung einer regionalen Schweinefleischproduktion.

Activities

Regional pig farming is under strong pressure due to global cometition. This development is driven by the global supply and producers in other countries, from whom hardly any or not sustainablility measures are requirded. This puts regional production at a competitive disadvantage, as their sustainabilty performance is currently not rewarded on the market, or only to a very limeited extent. Which sustainibilty services are and can be provided by regional pig farming and supply chains. For this purpose, the services are to be identified and evaluated. In a fursther step, these are then put into value, i.e. a market price is set based on the costs of production.

Die Schweinehalter stehen vor der Herausforderung einer zukunftsorientierten und nachhaltigen Neuausrichtung. Die Investitionsbereitschaft ist wegen der anhaltend schlechten Kosten- und Erlössituation und einem Akzeptanz- und Imageproblem schlecht. Dazu kommt ein Wettbewerbsnachteil im globalen Markt, da Nachhhaltigkeitsleistungen aktuell nicht konsistent erfasst u. nur sehr begrentz honoriert werden. Analysert werden bereits erbrachten Nachhhaltigkeitsleistungen in der regionalen Lieferkette Schweinefleisch und die zur Stabilisierung und Sicherung der Lieferkette künftig erforderlichen Maßnahmen für Klimaschutz, Biodiversität und Tierschutz.
