El grupo operativo AgriRegenCarbon obtendrá como principal resultado el desarrollo de una metodología para la generación de compensaciones de emisiones de carbono en el sector agrícola. Esta metodología estará disponible y accesible para cualquier actor del sector que desee aplicarla, siendo por lo tanto de beneficio público, con el objetivo de ser un motor de cambio en el panorama actual agrícola, convirtiendo un aparente problema en una solución trascendental y disruptiva para la lucha contra la crisis climática. Los principales beneficiarios de este resultados serán por un lado, los propios agricultores que deseen comenzar a trabajar con compensaciones de emisiones de carbono a partir de la agriucultura regenerativo, y además, la población global al repercutir directamente en la captura de carbono de forma permanente en el suelo, reduciendo las emisiones.

The main objective of the AgriRegenCarbon operatin group is to establish a pilot project to validate the technical, regulatory and economic feasibility of a methodology for generating carbon emissions offsets in the agricultural sector. To do this, it is based on the implementation of regenerative agriculture as a vehicle to capture carbon dioxide and help mitigate the climate crisis, with agriculture being part of the solution.

The main expected result is the development of a methodology for generating carbon emissions offsets in the agricultural sector. This methodology will be available and accessible to any actor in the sector who wishes to apply it, being therefore of public benefit, with the aim of being an engine of change in the current agricultural panorama, turning an apparent problem into a transcendental and disruptive solution for the fight against the climate crisis.
