Brest terres océanes (BTO) is a territorial tourism development organization dedicated to promoting sustainable, innovative, and inclusive tourism in the Pays de Brest.
BTO is about to launch a project to accelerate the sustainable transition of local tourism professionals through personalized support, practical tools, and European cooperation.
Project objectives: creating a replicable ecosystem for sustainable tourism, strengthening the attractiveness and responsible image of the territory while fostering local economic resilience.
Key actions could include:
- Personalized RSE support for SMEs, integrating diagnostics, training, and practical kits (energy/water savings, waste sorting, soft mobility, accessibility).
- Promotion of sustainable mobility: development of "low-carbon stay" packages, cycling infrastructure, and public transport partnerships.
- Valorization: support for obtaining labels and communication campaigns.
- Cooperation: exchange of best practices with other tourism organisations.
