    Summary

    This methodological case study explores the ‘Think Local’ programme in Scotland, UK, in its collaborative approach to short supply chains, including farmers’ markets, farm retail, food tourism, and regional food and drink networks, to add value for rural producers.

    Results

    As of September 2014, funding of £500k had been distributed to over 60 applicants. 13 new or revived food networks had been supported, and over 10 new businesses had been supported in developments.
