Context

Het ontwerp fieldlab ‘Vanuit het dier bekeken’ is gefocust op de ontwikkeling van een meer dierwaardige melkvee- en varkenshouderij binnen de kaders van water-, lucht- en bodemkwaliteit. Hierbij wordt gewerkt vanuit de twee verschillende pijlers te weten extensiveren en innoveren met als uitgangspunt de doelen uit het PPLG en de mogelijkheden binnen het gebied. De samenwerking tussen verschillende partijen waaronder veehouders, de keten, onderwijs en overheid staat hierbij centraal, met als doel om samen een duurzaam vooruitstrevend en financieel haalbaar fieldlab te ontwerpen.

1 Practice Abstracts

The Fieldlab ‘From the animal’ design focuses on the development of a more animal-grade dairy livestock and pig farming within the water, air and soil quality frameworks. This is done on the basis of the two different pillars of extensification and innovation, based on the objectives of the PPLG and the possibilities within the area. Cooperation between different actors including livestock farmers, the chain, education and government is at the heart of this work, with the aim of co-creating a sustainable progressive and financially viable Fieldlab.
