Objectives
Among the primary productive sectors, those based on animal production are the most exposed to economic loss in the event of inefficient management. Moreover, the increase in the effectiveness of the solutions adopted to improve economic performance, has always positive implications on the factors of animal welfare and safety at work.
The objectives of the project are therefore linked to:
a) Optimization of farm management
b) Improvement of animal welfare
c) Improvement of the quality of work
Objectives
Tra i settori produttivi primari, quelli basati sulle produzioni animali sono i più esposti alla perdita economica in caso di gestione non efficiente. Inoltre, l’incremento nell’efficacia delle soluzioni adottate per migliorare la performance economica, ha sempre risvolti positivi sui fattori del benessere animale e della sicurezza sul lavoro.
Gli obiettivi del progetto sono legati quindi a:

b) Miglioramento del benessere animale
c) Miglioramento della qualità del lavoro

1 Practice Abstracts
• Support farmers in the innovative and effective management of farms through the digitization of paper and local data in each farm. We want to bring together the work of each individual farmer and the environmental data and food consumption of each individual box.
• The Group manages about 60 fattening farms in the supply chain (around 30 turkeys and 30 chicken, on average each farm has 14 boxes / sheds.
The objective of the project is to take one or more farms as pilot in the next two years 2020-2021. If the results and performances are positive, expand the range of action to similar farms.
From 2022 the hypothesis is to further expand to the entire supply chain of relief workers and then realize a product that can be resold to any 800 farms in all.
The starting activity aims to activate the systems and technologies to implement the decision-making system in the farms of Mercato Saraceno - Nerone or Serre and any other companies in the Emilia Romagna area.
We are talking about at least 30 boxes in which we want to automatically acquire environmental data and any food consumption.
In the action the evaluation will be obtained of the economic convenience of the application of DSS and sensoristics to farms in terms of:
• change in costs compared to the pre-investment situation,
• quantification of the increase in the value of the brand, based on the Brand Valuation by Price Premium method (Macias and Rodriguez, 2018), based on the communication to consumers of the changed working conditions and the well-being of workers,
• environmental impact through LCA analysis.
• Supportare gli allevatori nella gestione innovativa ed efficace degli allevamenti mediante la digitalizzazione dei dati cartacei e locali in ogni allevamento. Vogliamo portare a fattor comune l’operato di ogni singolo allevatore e i dati ambientali e consumo di cibo di ogni singolo box.
• Il Gruppo gestisce nella filiera circa 60 allevamenti da ingrasso, (circa 30 tacchini e 30 pollo, mediamente ogni allevamento ha 14 box/capannoni.
L’obiettivo del progetto è prendere come pilota uno o più allevamenti nel prossimo biennio 2020-2021. Se i risultati e le performances saranno positivi espandere il raggio di azione agli allevamenti simili.
Dal 2022 l’ipotesi è di espandersi ulteriormente all’intera filiera di soccidari e quindi realizzare un prodotto rivendibile ad eventuali 800 allevamenti in tutto.
L’attività in partenza mira ad attivare i sistemi e le tecnologie per implementare il sistema decisionale negli allevamenti di Mercato Saraceno – Nerone o Serre ed eventuali altre aziende del territorio Emilia Romagna.
Parliamo di almeno 30 box nel quale vogliamo acquisire automaticamente i dati ambientali ed eventuali consumi alimentari.
Nell’azione si otterrà la valutazione della convenienza economica dell’applicazione di DSS e sensoristica agli allevamenti in termini di:
• variazione di costi rispetto alla situazione pre-investimento,
• quantificazione dell’incremento di valore del marchio, basato sul metodo Brand Valuation by Price Premium (Macias e Rodriguez, 2018 ), in funzione della comunicazione ai consumatori delle mutate condizioni di lavoro e del benessere dei lavoratori ,
• ricaduta ambientale attraverso l’analisi LCA.
