Objectives

Aim of the project is the establishment of a new, innovative, pioneering farming system in the nursery practice for the production of street and avenue trees. The project uses physiological early tests to select adaptable varieties of various tree species and provide for nursery production. The new production and cultivation system is carried out based on the in vitro propagation of this new climate adapted varieties. An effective transfer process of in vitro plants will be developed in the street and avenue tree production, which is based on providing ungrafted varieties for outdoor cultivation in nurseries.


Objectives

Ziel des Projekts ist die Etablierung eines neuen, innovativen Anbausystems in der Baumschulpraxis für die Produktion von Straßen- und Alleebäumen. Das Projekt wendet physiologische Frühtests an, um anpassungsfähige Sorten verschiedener Baumarten zu selektieren und für die Baumschulproduktion bereitzustellen. Das neue Produktions- und Anbausystem wird auf Grundlage der In-vitro-Vermehrung dieser neuen klimaangepassten Sorten durchgeführt. Dabei wird ein effektives Überführungsverfahren der In-vitro-Pflanzen in die Straßen- und Alleebaumproduktion entwickelt, welches auf der Bereitstellung wurzelechter Sorten für die Freilandanzucht in den Baumschulen basiert.
