Activities
Reduction of nitrogen excretion below 100 kg N/ha by more land in the holdings, inter alia through cooperation between Brabants Landschap. It is worth mentioning that, as early as 2024 (also in cooperation with Brabants Landschap, among others), additional land was created in preparation of the application, which has already significantly reduced the current animal excretion so that the project can be launched rapidly in 2025 (Van Eert: animal excretion 2023: approx. 198, animal excretion 2024: approx. 94, Oerlemans: animal excretion 2023: approx. 246, animal excretion 2024: approx. 103);
* Conversion to organic farming (end of fertiliser application);
* Grazing to > 1.500 hours;
* Additional herbal grasslands (approx. 200 ha), the target is to convert 100 % of grasslands to minimum grass laver and/or herbaceous grassland;
* Target balanced rations with objective: 155 RE | target which the WUR practical pilot is aimed at;
* Higher OS content by non-rotating tillage and application of solid manure with higher C-N ratio (better use of minerals and increased water retention capacity;
* Study completed (with related conclusions) on possibilities for applying other moments of solid manure gift so that wet grasslands are longer acceptable for operation including Brabants Landschap;
* Ambition is an average score of 2.200 points on the Brabantse biodiversiteits Monitor;
* Gold on the CAP eco-scheme
* Achieve a minimum of 10 % green blue approach;
* Knowledge sharing between themselves and externally;
* Further reduction of greenhouse gases below the target of 900 g CO2/eq/kg FCPM;
Activities
Reductie stikstofdierexcretie tot onder 100 kg N/ha door meer grond onder de bedrijven onder andere door samenwerking Brabants Landschap. Hierbij is goed te benoemen dat al in 2024 (ook in samenwerking met onder andere Brabants Landschap) ter voorbereiding van de aanvraag extra gronden zijn gerealiseerd waardoor de huidige dierexcretie al flink omlaag is gebracht zodat in 2025 voortvarend van start gegaan kan worden met het project (Van Eert: dierexcretie 2023: ca. 198, dierexcretie 2024: ca. 94, Oerlemans: dierexcretie 2023: ca. 246, dierexcretie 2024: ca. 103);
* Omschakelen naar biologische bedrijfsvoering (beëindigen kunstmestgift);
* Beweiding naar >1.500 uur;
* Realisatie extra kruidenrijk grasland (ca. 200 ha), doel is 100% van de graslanden om te schakelen naar minimaal grasklaver en/of kruidenrijk grasland;
* Sturen op uitgebalanceerd rantsoen met doelstelling <155 RE | Streefgetal waar de praktijkpilot Koe & Eiwit van de WUR op is gericht;
* Hogere OS gehalte door niet kerende grondbewerking en opbrengen vaste mest met hogere C-N ratio (betere benutting mineralen en meer watervasthoudend vermogen;
* Onderzoek afgerond (met bijbehorende conclusies) naar mogelijkheden voor toepassen andere momenten vaste mestgift zodat natte graslanden langer acceptabel zijn voor bedrijfsvoering i.s.m. Brabants Landschap;
* Ambitie is gemiddelde score van 2.200 punten op de Brabantse Biodiversiteits Monitor;
* Goud op de eco-regeling van het GLB
* Minimaal 10% groenblauwe dooradering realiseren;
* Delen van kennis onderling en extern;
* Verdere reductie broeikasgassen onder het streefgetal 900 g CO2/eq/kg FCPM;

1 Practice Abstracts
With the implementation of the project, we extensify our companies and reduce our nitrogen deposition in the Natura 2000 area of Brabantse Wal. This has a positive impact on the declaration of this area where many nitrogen-sensitive habitat types are present. At the same time, other extensification measures are being implemented in an intensive cooperation with Brabants Landschap, which give a positive boost to hydrology, biodiversity and the green and blue approach. The great, complex and urgent challenges in the area call for a comprehensive approach and intensive cooperation.
Met de uitvoering van het project extensiveren wij onze bedrijven en reduceren wij onze stikstofdepositie op het Natura2000-gebied Brabantse Wal. Dit heeft een positief effect op de opgave van dit gebied waar veel stikstofgevoelige habitattypen aanwezig zijn. Tegelijkertijd worden in een intensieve samenwerking met Brabants Landschap andere extensiveringsmaatregelen uitgevoerd die een positieve impuls geven op de hydrologie, biodiversiteit en de groen-blauwe dooradering. De grote, complexe en urgente opgaven in het gebied vragen om een integrale aanpak en intensieve samenwerking.
