2019-005-RemolachiNN IMPLANTAR UN NUEVO SISTEMA DE MANEJO AGRÍCOLA EN REMOLACHA AZUCARERA y PATATA DE SIEMBRA PARA ELIMINAR EL USO DE NEONICOTINOIDES (NNIs)
Objectives
The main objetive of the project consist on a pilot plan to show innovative agricultural practices that minimize the economic impact of the definitive prohibition of the use of neonicotinoids in sugar beet and seed potato crops.
The project responds to the following objetives:
• Inform all the farmers of the change in agricultural management due to the prohibition of NNIs in beets and seed potatoes.
• Establish a warning system for the application of alternative insecticides to NNIs at the most effective and efficient moment for the control of pests and diseases.
• Value the use of biostimulants of the natural resistance of plants to reduce the use of phytosanitary products in these crops.
Objectives
Plan piloto para mostrar prácticas agrícolas innovadoras que minimicen el impacto económico por la prohibición definitiva de los neonicotinoides en los cultivos de remolacha azucarera y patata de siembra.
El proyecto responde a las siguientes necesidades:
• Comunicar a los agricultores el cambio de manejo agrícola por la prohibición de NNIs en remolacha y patata de siembra.
• Establecer un sistema de avisos para la aplicación de los insecticidas alternativos a los NNIs en el momento más eficaz y eficiente para el control de plagas y enfermedades.
• Valorar el uso de bioestimulantes de la resistencia natural de plantas para reducir el uso de fitosanitarios en estos cultivos
Activities
1. Installation of traps in sugarbeet plots to track and monitor different pests, mainly aphids, to know the optimal moment to carry out the treatments.
2. Training and dissemination days have been carried out for technicians and farmers, to show the techniques of monitoring and monitoring of insects
3. Trials with biostimulant products as an alternative and complement to conventional phytosanitary treatments.
4. Distribution of material for pest monitoring to all sugar beet farmers
Activities
1. Instalación de trampas en parcelas de remolacha para realizar el seguimiento y monitorización de distintas plagas, principalmente de pulgones, para conocer el momento óptimo para realizar los tratamientos.
2. Se han llevado a cabo jornadas de formación y difusión para técnicos y agricultores, para dar a conocer las técnicas de seguimiento y monitorización de los insectos
3. Ensayos con productos bioestimulantes como alternativa y complemento a los tratamientos fitosanitarios convencionales.
4. Reparto de material para la monitorización de plagas a todos los agricultores de remolacha azucarera
