● Verder een uitwerking van de volgende onderwerpen: onderzoek en technologie, marktwerking en financiën, communicatie en promotie, beleid en regelgeving en perspectieven. Ook educatie is van groot belang omdat veel kennis versnipperd is en dat vraagt om een platformbenadering om tot standaardisatie te komen.
Context
Notenteelt is een duurzame teelt met potentie ten aanzien van circulaire economie, biodiversiteit en korte voorzieningsketens. De teelt geeft een behoorlijk rendement over de hele teeltduur. Naast de toenemende vraag van consumenten naar lokale producten, is de trend naar agroforestry, een mengteeltsysteem van bomen en landbouw dat goed is voor de biodiversiteit en bodemvruchtbaarheid, een van de aanjagers. Notenteelt is een milieuvriendelijke teelt. Alleen de lange periode tussen de aanplant van notenbomen en een rendabele oogst van de noten (de Stichtingsperiode) en de onbekendheid van de teelt remt echter de uitbreiding ervan.

1 Practice Abstracts
The project aims to find a solution for the long period with limited yields at the start of a nut cultivation (the Foundation period). The solution is described as an innovative concept and elaborated via the canvas method (business plan). A pilot was also carried out in which parts of the chain were carried out. Nut cultivation is on the map in Gelderland. Nut cultivation in general has been stimulated through meetings, articles, presentations and brochures, in addition to the application of nut trees in various systems. The various meetings were well attended by agricultural entrepreneurs and there was good interest from the various stakeholders. The brochures are widely distributed physically and digitally. Het project beoogt een oplossing te vinden voor de lange periode met beperkte opbrengsten bij de start van een notenteelt (de Stichtingsperiode). De oplossing wordt beschreven als een innovatief concept en uitgewerkt via de canvas methode (businessplan). Verder is er een pilot uitgevoerd waarbij onderdelen van de keten uitgevoerd zijn.
De notenteelt staat op de kaart in Gelderland. Middels bijeenkomsten, artikelen, presentaties en de brochures is de notenteelt in zijn algemeenheid gestimuleerd naast de toepassing van notenbomen in diverse systemen. De diverse bijeenkomsten werden goed bezocht door agrarische ondernemers en er was goede belangstelling vanuit de diverse stakeholders. De brochures zijn breed fysiek en digitaal verspreid.
